TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms govern all orders and services with ROVE Gifts & Favours (ABN:33 677 083 439) ('ROVE', 'we', 'us').
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) apply in full and cannot be excluded by anything in this document.
1. OUR WORK
Everything we make is handcrafted and personalised to order from our HQ studio based in Indonesia. We operate online at rove-gifts.com.au, at events and through direct client engagements.
2. ORDERS AND SIGN-OFF
Orders can be placed via our website, email or in person. Your order is confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us.
Before we go into production, we'll walk you through every detail together. Take your time reviewing the proof, once you give us the green light, that's our instruction to start batch production.
Once you sign off on your order, production begins. If you need to make changes after sign-off, get in touch with us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate. The production process in this case will immediately be paused. Where changes affect materials, labour, or timing, a variation proposal and updated invoice will be issued and signed by you before production resumes.
3. PAYMENT
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. For corporate or bulk orders, a written quote will be issued and is valid for 14 days.
To ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship and dedicated production time, ROVE operates on a stage-based payment structure. Production will not proceed to the next stage until the corresponding payment has been cleared. Production will commence once we confirm receipt of payment.
Stage 1 - 50% deposit, due on acceptance of your quote. This confirms your booking and starts the process.
Stage 2 - remaining 50%, due prior to production.
4. PRODUCTION & TURNAROUND
Our standard turnaround is 6-16 business weeks from order confirmation, depending on complexity and studio demand. Estimated times are shared at checkout and in your order confirmation.
If you have a firm event date, please let us know before ordering so we can confirm feasibility. We'll always be upfront if something isn't achievable in your timeframe.
5. LEATHER AND MATERIALS
All ROVE pieces are made from genuine leather. Because leather is a natural material, every hide carries its own character / beauty marks such as subtle variations in grain pattern and texture, natural scarring, stretch marks, minor tonal shifts and colour distribution.These characteristics are not considered flaws or defects; rather, they are the hallmarks of high-quality, authentic leather that distinguish it from synthetic alternatives.
With use over time, genuine leather develops a patina, a natural deepening of colour and texture that reflects the life of the piece. This is a feature, not a fault.
Colours shown on our website are as accurate as photography and screen settings allow. Dye lots can vary slightly between batches, and digital displays render colour differently. We can't guarantee an exact colour match to what you see on your screen, but we'll always aim as close as possible
6. RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At ROVE, we pride ourselves on creating tailored, one-of-a-kind goods and we want you to love what arrives. If something isn't right, please reach out, we'll always do our best to make it right. Because our products are primarily custom-made to your specific requirements, all sales are final once sign-off is received. Returns or replacements will only be considered in the event of a verified manufacturing defect or a discrepancy from the signed-off proof.
We ask that you inspect your order within 48 hours of receiving it and let us know if anything isn't right. The sooner we hear from you, the faster we can resolve it, especially when you're working to an event deadline.
To get in touch, email hello@rove-gifts.com.au with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. If we get it wrong: If we make an error against your signed-off proof, we'll fix or replace it at our cost, no questions asked.
Natural leather variation, colour differences between screen and physical product, and the development of patina over time are not defects and are not grounds for a return. We describe these clearly in Section 5 so you know what to expect.
We don't offer returns or refunds for change of mind on personalised orders. This is consistent with the ACL, which doesn't require a remedy for change of mind on goods made to your specific instructions.
7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Orders are quality checked and dispatched from our manufacturing HQ in Indonesia, and goes through a second round of quality check in our warehouse in Melbourne, all local shipping will be from Melbourne. Tracking details are sent once your order is on its way.Delivery timeframes are estimates. Once dispatched, your order is in the hands of the carrier and we're not responsible for delays beyond our control. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address or non-collection, re-delivery costs are your responsibility.
8. LIVE STAMPING EXPERIENCES
Live stamping bookings are confirmed on receipt of a signed agreement and deposit. Dates are held on a first-confirmed basis.
Cancellations of live stamping service of more than 30 days before the event will receive a deposit refund less any non-recoverable costs already incurred. Cancellations within 30 days may forfeit the deposit. We're always happy to discuss rescheduling subject to availability.
9. CORPORATE ORDERS
Corporate gifting orders are managed through a dedicated proposal process. We'll work with you directly to understand your brief, timeline, and brand requirements before any order is confirmed as we want to fully help you convey your brand message.
Corporate orders are governed by a separate written proposal or service agreement. Where there's any inconsistency with these terms, the specific agreement prevails.
Minimum order quantities may apply and will be confirmed in your quote. Lead times for corporate orders are confirmed on a per-project basis, please get in touch early, especially if you're working to an event or gifting deadline.
All corporate orders follow the same two-stage payment structure outlined in Section 3, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
