The Leather
LEATHER THAT GETS BETTER WITH TIME
Leather is one of the oldest forms of recycling in the world. Every hide we use is a byproduct of the food industry. material that would otherwise go to waste, given a second life as something made to be kept. We think that's worth holding onto.
We work exclusively with genuine Javanese cowhide, a material prized for its fine grain, tight pores and exceptional durability. Sourced from small local tanneries in Java, it develops character over time, softening and deepening with use. A piece made from it doesn't wear out, it wears in.
Every hide is selected, cut and finished by hand at our studio. No shortcuts, no outsourcing.
If your brief calls for something beyond leather (canvas, calico, satin, custom hardware), we have trusted manufacturing partners who meet the same standard. Tell us what you have in mind.
The Reclaimed Collection
NOT EVERY PIECE STARTS FROM NEW MATERIAL
Our reClaimed Collection is made from 100% genuine reclaimed leather, offcuts from our own production, cut from the same quality hides we use across every order.
Each piece is unique to the leather available at the time, which means the colour combination is never quite the same twice. Choose a single colour from our current palette, or let us mix. What you get is one of a kind by nature, not by design.

Personalisation Finishes
EACH PIECE, APPLIED BY HAND
The finishing detail is often what people remember. These are our standard personalisation options, each one chosen for how it sits on the leather. If your brief calls for something not on this list, bring it to us.
Blind deboss
The leather is pressed to create a recessed impression without ink or foil. Subtle, tactile, and timeless. The most understated of our finishes.
Foil hot print
A metallic foil is heat-pressed into the leather. Available in gold, silver and rose gold. Adds warmth and a sense of occasion to any piece.
Engraving
Laser or hand-engraved into the leather surface. Works well for fine detail, intricate logos, and personalised text at small sizes.
Screen printing
Ink applied directly to the leather surface. Best suited to bolder, flatter graphics. Available in a range of colours to match your palette.
Embroidery
Thread stitched directly into the leather. Adds texture and dimension. Well-suited to logos, initials, and designs with clean lines.
Not sure which finish suits your brief? We'll advise during the design consultation. Most orders include a sample approval before full production begins.
Packaging
THE OUTSIDE MATTERS AS MUCH AS THE INSIDE
Every ROVE piece arrives ready to give. Packaging is not an afterthought, it's part of the gift. These are our standard options, each available with custom branding.
Gift box
A rigid gift box finished in matte white or black. Includes tissue paper and a ribbon tie. Can be stamped or foiled with your event name, monogram, or date.

Dust bag
A cotton or calico drawstring pouch, screen-printed or embroidered with your branding. Softens the presentation and doubles as a keepsake in its own right
